Brinlee's First Preschool Field Trip

Brinlee had her first Preschool Field Trip at the Dairy! Me, Paige and Grandma Adams were able to go with her. She had a lot of fun with her class, and her teacher is amazing! Brinlee has learned so much at Preschool so far and LOVES going, I am so glad we decided to have her go where we did.

Utah Trip-Oct 2011

Scott had a week off for October break so we decided to go to Utah to spend some time with all of our amazing family up there. I didnt take very many pictures, but we had alot of fun hanging out with Grandma Barker and all of Scott's cousins. We have the best time when we go up to Utah not to mention it was still so hot here so it was so nice to enjoy some cooler weather! The only pictures I got are of our trip to a Pumpkin Festival in Payson with Scott's cousin Kyle and his fun family!

Brinlee played in a little T-ball league. I love that she is at the age to be able to start playing sports. She really does like playing sports, she had a little bit of a hard time when she didn't get the ball, but we will just have to work on her sportsmanship skills :)

I am finally starting to get caught up. Brin is growing up WAY too fast, I can't believe she is old enough to be in Preschool. I shed a few tears when I dropped her off, but she is doing amazing, and her teacher Mrs. Gillespie is AWESOME! She goes Tue, Wed, & Thur for 2 1/2 hours and she is so excited to go each time. She has already learned so much! I love watching her learn new things and be excited about it.

Stuart Family Reunion 2011

We had our Stuart Family Reunion at Bryce Canyon this year. It was really pretty! It rained alot when we were there but we made it work :) It was so good to see extended family that I hadn't seen in years. We all had alot of fun just hanging out and catching up. I really do enjoy family reunions.

Lake Powell 2011

We were able to go to Lake Powell in July with Scott's family. WE LOVE Lake Powell. We have gone every year with the exception of 1 since we have been married. It is so much fun! The girls loved it this year too. We had to keep at very close eye on our little Paige, but overall she did really good. My brother and his family were able to come up and hang out with us for a couple days since it was on the way to Bryce Canyon where our family reunion was. Brin's Dance Recital

                                   Brin had her first dance recital in June. She did so good, it was so much fun to watch. My parents and sisters came with us to watch her and she loved all the attention. Especially the flowers she got after her performance. She loved dance and was so excited when it was time to go each week. I thought their outfits were adorable! The song they danced to was the Little Mermaid song, Under the Sea.

My Grammy turns 85

Me and the girls went up to Taylor to celebrate Grammy's 85th Birthday!! My Grammy means so much to me, I am very close to her. I was so excited to go and celebrate such a special day with her. We took her out for a little birthday dinner at Trapper's in Taylor. That place is so yummy! I have such awesome memories from being at my Grammy's house in Taylor. I am so very lucky to have such an amazing Grandma, and hope that I get to spend MANY MANY more birthdays with her!!!

I am so behind on my blogging, life has just been too insance lately to find the time to do it, but I am determined to get caught up. The first thing I need to blog about is our trips to Utah. Our first trip to Utah was to celebrate Scott's Grandma Barker's 80th Birthday and to see his sweet Grandpa Barker one last time. He was diagnosed with brain cancer a couple weeks before that. It was extremely sad knowing that this visit would be the last time we would see Grandpa Barker on earth, but we were grateful for the opportunity knowing alot of people don't get to say goodbye to their loved ones before they pass. We are also beyond grateful for the plan of salvation and the knowledge that we will see him again

We also celebrated Easter while we were in Utah. The girls had an easter egg hunt with their cousins and woke up to their Easter baskets from the Easter bunny. It was the perfect weekend to celebrate the the true meaning of Easter.....The Resurrection of Jesus Christ. I think this quote is amazing “In our hour of deepest sorrow, we can receive profound peace from the words of the angel that first Easter morning: ‘He is not here: for he is risen.’”

We went back up to Utah about a month later for Grandpa's funeral. It was a beautiful service and we know that the love that we have for him will last through eternity and that we will see him again someday. WE LOVE YOU GRANDPA BARKER!

While we were up there we are also visited our nephew Jaret that is in the Hospital in Salt Lake. He was born with multiple heart defects and he continues to be there until they can do his big heart surguery. He is such a sweet little guy, and I am glad I got to see him.

Scott's Dads office had an Ice Skating party. We thought it would be fun to take Brinlee and see how she liked it. We got Brinlee her skates, and she was really excited at first and then after 1/2 of the first lap around she wanted to get off the ice. It was just too slippery for her. Maybe she will like it when she gets older :)

We decided to go to Sea World for a mixed birthday party! My Moms, my nephew Paytons, mine, Brinlee's and my brothers birthday is all within 2 weeks. Thats alot of birthdays :) This year we thought we would all celebrate together and go to Sea World. Unfortunately, my Mom was sick and wasn't able to go. We stayed at my brothers house and just did the drive in 1 day. It was alot of fun. My all time favorite show there is the Sea Lion show, its so funny. We sat in the soak zone for all the shows and had ponchos, that made them so much funner. We didn't really get wet until the last Shamu show and all the ponchos had ripped so we definitely got wet then, but it was totally worth it! Just the anticipation of getting splased made us laugh everytime the whales or dolphins would swim in front of us. All the kids did awesome considering it was a very long day, and we all had a really good time!

Brinlee Reese turned 4 years old on April 1st. I can't believe I have a four year old. She brings so much joy and love into our home. She is such a smart little girl, and amazes me everyday with the things she says and understands. She is such a good older sister, and has nothing but love for Paige, I love watching them together. She still has her moments, but really for the most part she is such a good girl! She is an awesome helper and we feel so lucky to be blessed with such an amazing daughter!

The Best 5 Years

This year we celebrated our 5th Anniversary. I know its a little late since our Anniversary is on March 11, but I am always behind on my blogging :) We had a pretty low key Anniversary this year. We just went out to dinner while Scott's sister Emily watched the girls It was so nice just to spend some alone time together. Here are five things I absolutely love about my husband:

3. He is so patient, understanding, and supportive

4. His sense of humor

5. He is so smart

I love you Scott! Even though things have been crazy, rough, and stressful at times, I am so glad I have you by my side to get through it. You truly are my best friend and I am so lucky to have you as my husband. Thank you for the best 5 years of my life!

What we've been up to....

I can't believe February is over already, it seems like it went by so fast. I am still planning on going private, but I think I will give it a little more time..so if you haven't already leave your email and I will add you :). We stayed pretty busy as usual in February so I thought since I am sooo behind I would just do a super long post to catch up!

First Dentist Appointment

Brinlee and Paige had their first dentist appointment. I had never taken Brinlee to the dentist and was a little worried about how she would do but she did awesome. The dentist said that her teeth look GREAT! and she has no cavities...YAY! I decided to have Paige seen because even though her teeth aren't even all the way in yet, I could see some discolorations on them, you kinda of have to look hard, but I definetly noticed them and I wanted to see what it was from. After the dentist looked at her teeth she asked me if I had a hard pregnancy with Paige and I told her no. She said that she has enamel hypoplasia. I guess its when the teeth are forming when still in the womb and for some reason the enamel didn't finish forming, she said it could have been because I was sick at the time when her teeth were forming or something. Anyways she said that the chances are it being on her permanent teeth is very slim, thank goodness!

Trip to Yuma for Macie's blessing

We went to Yuma to see our beautiful little neice Macie get blessed. It was such a fun trip, Brinlee especially had fun playing with her cousin, Payton. It was such a nice, relaxing weekend and the weather was perfect. I didn't get any pictures of Macie in her blessing dress, but she looked so cute!

Her favorite thing to do at Scott's parents house is swing and almost everytime when we go over there the first thing she asks her Grandma is if she will swing her and she always does. Valentines Day

I love Valentine's Day, not only because its a day of love, but because its also one of my favorite people in the whole world's birthday....HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!! We had a lot of fun on Valentine's day. I had planned out what we were going to do the day before because I knew it was going to be quite busy with me having to work and Scott working late.

Diamondback Spring Training Game 2011

Scott was off last Friday since he had to work a mandatory Saturday so we took full advantage! He usually works Mon-Sat so this is a rare occasion that we get him for a whole day by ourselves :) The girls love having their Daddy home! and so do I! The only downside was that I had to go into the office and do some training, but it worked out good because my office is on the way to the ball field. So after I was done working we headed to the game. We just bought lawn seats since we knew the girls wouldn't sit still in regular seats. It worked out really good and I think the girls had alot of fun. It was a little warm but it was good for all of us to get some sun :) We stayed for most of it until Paige poured a container of nacho cheese sauce on herself, and that ended our first Diamondback Spring Training game of 2011...haha! I am excited to go to more!

Christmas Day 2010

Christmas is so much fun when you have little kids. Brinlee totally got it this year which was so fun! We spent the night over at Scott's parents just so everyone could wake up together. Scott's Grandma and Grandpa Barker were in town also. Altogether there were 18 people so it made for alot of people and A TON of fun, oh and PRESENTS. Everyone had to go out at the same time to see what Santa brought and boy was he generous this year. Brinlee got an IXL, Headphones, and an IXL game from Santa and Paige got a little play doggie, plus so much more. It was so much fun to see how excited the little kids got. We did get it on video but I couldn't upload the video on here because it was too big. Paige isn't quite old enough to really understand it all so she just kinda wondered around. We just opened presents and hung out all day. It was so nice. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I love Christmas time. It is my favorite holiday for a couple reasons. The first reason is because its a time to really reflect and remember Jesus' birth and second you get to spend lots of time with family! We had an amazing Christmas. We spent it with Scott's family this year and Christi, Orrin, Wes, and Brad were in town, along with his Grandpa and Grandma Barker, which makes it so much fun because it means lots of play time for Brinlee and Paige with their cousins, plus we love hanging out with Scott's family.

I am SO proud of my husband, in December he graduated with his Bachelor's in Business Administration from ASU. I am so lucky to be married to such a smart man! He has worked full time for pretty much all of his degree and I know it was challenging at times with having a wife and two kids to take care of, but he has handled it like a trooper :) Now onto the next chapter of our life....Law School! Scott took the Law School Admission Test and did really good. He has applied to about eight different law schools so we will hopefully find out in March at the latest where he gets accepted. I am so excited and nervous for this part of our lives. I know he will do awesome though!

Since Halloween was on a Sunday we didn't go trick or treating, but we were able to go to three Trunk or Treats. We went to our ward's Trunk or Treat, Scott's parents ward, and our friends ward. It was alot of fun. Brinlee was Jessie for Halloween this year and Paige was a little Ladybug. I didn't take alot of pictures, but I do have a few.

Brinlee got a ton of candy! So the weekend before my brother Clint was at our house and he had told Brinlee about the Halloween fairy. And for those of you that don't know about the Halloween fairy, you leave all your Halloween candy under your pillow and she comes and takes the candy and leaves you a present. Brinlee loved the idea, and so did I! So the Halloween fairy took her candy and left her Toy Store 3, which she loved!

On our way back home, we stopped at Newport Beach. That was so fun. Brinlee LOVED the water! Paige wasn't so sure, but I don't think she minded it too much. I am so glad I have such a great family that I can spend time with and have fun with! This was both Brinlee and Paige's first time being at the Ocean and it was such a fun experience, the water was cold but not freezing, so it was perfect to play in.

Disneyland Trip...A little late, but better late than never :)

We had a BLAST at Disneyland this year. We went in the middle of October, all my family was able to come except for Jamie and Jaden, since Jamie had just moved to Nevada. We went on a Friday night to the Halloween celebration, and then we went ALL day Saturday. Its debatable who had more fun, us or the kids :) It was the perfect weather! I think we got to do almost everything we wanted to with no wait thanks to my awesome brother! He had just had knee surgery the week before, so he was a trooper and still came, but got a motorized scooter...which was amazing for us! Thanks Clint for taking one for the team ;) The only thing that we didn't get to do that makes me so sad, because Brinlee still talks about it, is seeing the princesses. They told us they closed later than they really did, so when we went back to see them (because the line earlier was like a 2 hr wait...seriously?), they were already gone for the night. I was so sad for her. I know that is what she was really excited for. I was so upset that the lady that worked there earlier told me the wrong time I went to customer service just to see what they could do, and of course being Disney they were awesome, and gave her a Princess picture with all their signatures and made it out to Brinlee. They made me feel a little better knowing I could give that to her. Other than that it was so awesome though. Brinlee was tall enough to go on all the rides except of Indiana Jones and she loved all the big rides, except for Space Mountain. That one isn't my favorite either. She LOVED Splash Mountain, we went on it several times, and she still tells me that is her favorite ride, good thing because its mine too...I love that ride!! I really wanted my amazingly talented cousin Cara to take the girls pictures this year, but we weren't able to make it up North, so off we went to JcPenney's. I think they turned out pretty good though. Brinlee did awesome, I was so proud of her...but Paige was not liking the whole picture thing, she wouldn't stand or sit still for nothing, so I am glad we even got what we did.:) I LOVE THESE GIRLS! I can't believe how big they are getting, they bring so much happiness and joy into my life.

We had the BEST time in New York! I had to go to New York for work so Scott came along so we could play when I wasn't working. (PS. I have the coolest bosses ever!) We stayed on Long Island so it was about an hour train ride into the city, so we only went one night but we were in the city until like 2am so we had plenty of time to see the sites. I definitely want to go back and see more though, I LOVED IT! We met up with my cousin Allison and Aunt Linda, my cousin Allison lives in NY now, so she was our "tour guide" and a very good one at that! We would have been lost without her! We had the best time with them. I missed my girls a ton, but it was so nice to get a vacation with my just me and my husband.

Paige Nicole is One!

I meant to post this on Paige’s actually birthday which is September 21st, but it ended up being a pretty busy day. I seriously can’t believe that it has been a year since Paige was born. Time goes by way to fast, it breaks my heart. This last year has been a good year, definitely challenging at times with Scott’s schedule and hardly ever being home and then me working from home, which I love that I can work from home and be will my girls all the time, but it is stressful at times. But I will take it over working out of the home and away from them anyday! I love that I have been there to see both Brinlee and Paige grow. I did work at an office for the first 2 ½ years of Brinlee’s life so with Paige it’s been really fun to be there all the time and be the first one to see her do things, like roll over…crawl…and walk.

Paige has been such an amazing baby and so fun. Some new things Paige has been doing lately are holding up the phone to her ear and saying Dadada (so cute), dancing (she loves to dance, and she feels the music…haha!!), knocking on doors and windows (in fact, if she is grabbing or messing with something she is not supposed to, all I have to say is knock knock and she will start knocking on whatever and forget about what she was getting into..so funny!), she is eating pretty much any solid soft food, and is off the bottle and drinking out of a sippy cup, she is jibber jabbing a lot more, she knows what she wants and she will let you know. Especially if her sissy has or takes something that she wants, she will go over and stand right in front of her and start yelling at her, its quite funny to watch. This whole time we thought it was Brinlee we had to worry about with Paige, but I think it might be Paige with Brinlee..lol! Those two get along so amazingly well though. Paige couldn’t have gotten a better big sister. Brinlee loves and adores that little girl and is nothing but nice and loving to her. I think as a Mom that is one of the best things to watch. The biggest milestone Paige hit is that she can WALK. She is walking everywhere and it’s the cutest thing. Here are some pictures of our Beautiful little Paige's life.....

I am a little behind in blogging. I actually wrote most of this when I was sitting on an airplane on my way to NY, I figured it was the perfect time to catch up. Plus I needed something to do to get my mind of leaving my girls (although, they were in great hands) it’s still so hard. I have, what you might say, a little bit of separation anxiety…haha! I have never been good at leaving them. In fact, before this trip I don’t think I have even been away from Paige for more than 7 hours. Yes, I will probably be one of those crazy Mom’s that shelters my kids and never lets them go anywhere or do anything without me..haha j/k…Maybe ;) Scott is pretty good at calming me down though. It was sooo nice to have had that mini vacation with just my husband, even though I was working part of the time. We still had time to meet up with my cousin Allison and Aunt Linda and see some sites, SO MUCH FUN! I will post pictures of our NY trip later, I still have to get caught up with Paige's birthday part too...man I am way behind!

We have managed to stay pretty busy lately. It feels like we have been gone pretty much every weekend for the last 3 months. A couple weekends ago we went up to Scott’s uncle Kevin’s cabin with his family and we had such a good time. The cabin was GORGEOUS and the weather was AMAZING. It was so nice to get out of the heat. I am so ready for it to cool down. We rode quads, played some games, and just relaxed. It was so nice!

Can it be that our little Paige is already 11 months old and in a month turns 1?! I really can't believe how fast she has grown, it seems like it has just flown by! She has been such a fun, sweet, and GOOD little baby. We are so lucky!

We have been extremely busy since we got back from Utah. My little sister Kyrstin got married, she looked GORGEOUS! It was a super hot day, but we had alot of fun. The reception turned out really good, I didn't get alot of pictures because I was so busy helping set up, and serving food, but I did manage to get a few.

Then my little sister Kalli turned 18...I know 18...can you believe it?! I can't! She is so much fun to hang out with, I LOVE HER TO DEATH! She just moved to Tempe from Kingman to go to school and I am so glad she is close by!

Our nephew Payton got to come have a "sleepover" as Brinlee calls it. He came and spent the weekend with us, and we had so much fun. Him and Brinlee get along really good, so they had fun playing all weekend. Brinlee loves to have people over, and she will talk about it forever afterward. There is a huge park across the street from our house so we took them over there to play some T-ball. They really ejoyed it. Brinlee is really good at it too, I think its time we put her in T-ball next year.

Now for an update on our girls! They are growing up WAY too fast. Brinlee is going to be starting Joy School at the end of this month. I decided I am just not ready to let her go to a regular preschool yet, you can say I have a little bit of seperation anxiety :) So I am going to do a Joy School with a few other Mom's in my ward. Joy School is where each week the kids go to a different kids house and their Mom teaches the lessons. There is a curriculum and everything, so one week I will teach preschool and then the next week another Mom would teach it. I think it will be really good, cause it is exactly like a preschool, but she is only going a couple houses down to learn instead of a regular school, and I also get to teach her and see her progress, I am really excited for it, and so is Brinlee. Brinlee is saying her prayers all by herself and she she is so good at it. She can say the meal prayer and the bedtime prayer and it is so cute! She is still as sweet as ever, she has her moments of course, but the good far out weighs the bad, and she is the BEST big sister ever. She absolutely adores Paige and Paige adores her! Paige just got her 1st tooth and I am totally okay with that, I didn't have to deal with teething for 10 months :) She has started standing by herself, so I am pretty sure she will be walking soon. She also got her cast off, thankfully! She had a cast on for about 4 weeks and it was not fun! Her right foot turned in alot, so at her 9 month appointment I asked her Pediatrician about it and they told me it might be a club foot and referred me to Phoenix Children's Hospital to a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon. I took her there to they confirmed that she did have a club foot, they said it wasn't severe, but it did need to be corrected. She did okay with having a cast on, and learned to crawl and stand with it on, but in the beggining she hated it, and I hated it too :) But I am really glad we were able to get it fixed while she was young. When they took the cast off the doctor said that her foot looked great and we would just have to keep an eye on it, she said that she didn't think we needed to keep a brace on it or anything. I was so happy to hear that, I did not want to have to deal with a brace on her leg. Since she has gotten her cast of though, she has been alot more happy since she can get around alot easier now. Utah Trip...Be Prepared...Its LONG!

I am going to apologize ahead of time for the picture overload :) This year for vacation we went to Utah to hang out with lots of family. Scott's sister Christi and her husband Orrin and their two boys came down from Oregon and met us there. We stayed at Scott's grandparents house, we LOVE staying with his Grandpa and Grandma and getting to spend time with them, they are amazing people! We had so much fun seeing Christi, Orrin, and their boys, Wes and Brad. We miss them so much and can't wait for them to come back to Arizona after Orrin is done with Dental School. We also got to hangout with Scott's Uncle Doug and his family. They live in California so we don't get to see them very often but we sure do have a good time with them. We had something planned almost every day and plenty of time to play games at night. On one of the days we went to a Dairy Farm. Its actually owned by Scott's cousins wife's family. (Kyle and Megan). They were awesome enough to take us out there and give us the tour. It was pretty interesting to see how the whole process works, here are some pictures from the Dairy Farm:

4th of July

We had such a fun 4th of July,well I guess 3rd of July since that is when we celebrated it. We spent it by going over to see my Cousin Brad and his family (I don't have any pictures), but it was really good to catch up with them. Its been a couple years since I have seen them, but its nice cause we can just pick up where we left off :) Then we went to go meet all of Scott's family to watch the fireworks. We went to a grass field right in front on the Provo Temple (not on the grounds). The spot was perfect! There was a ton of traffic and people, but it didn't matter we still had so much fun. We lit off some sparklers and even Brin and Wes did it with no injuries :) The firework show was great! We tried to leave a little bit early to try and miss the traffic, but that didn't work out so well. When we got home we were all so exhausted....but it was totally worth it.

Last but not Least...our short Lake Powell Trip

On our way back from Utah we stopped at Lake Powell just overnight to spend a little bit of time on Scott's parents houseboat. We got there in time to watch the firework show on the 4th from the top of the Houseboat, it was actually a pretty good show. Every summer Scott's parents go to Lake Powell and since we have been married we have gone with them usually for the week. This year since we had taken time off to go to Utah we weren't able to go for the full week, but we were able to stay the night and spend most of the next day hanging out on the Houseboat and going out on the speedboat. I absolutely LOVE Lake Powell, it is such a fun, beautiful place.

I am SO lucky that I get to work from home and spend all day with these two girls. They are so my life, and so much fun! Brinlee started swimming lessons a couple weeks ago and the whole first week she hated it, she didn't want to get her eyes wet. The whole lesson she would just cry and want to get out of the pool, but I decided to stick with it to see if she got used to it. Then we went to the store and bought her some "magic goggles" so that her eyes didn't get wet, and it she hasn't cried since. She loves swimming lessons now and is doing so good. She has such an awesome teacher who is so patient with her, so that makes it nice. Brinlee is so funny and still so polite and the BEST big sister to Paige. She is so concerned about Paige's well being, she is always trying to help me take care of her and is always giving her hugs and kisses. Its such an awesome thing to watch as a Mom! Paige is growing up way too fast! She is just the sweetest little baby and sooo good! She has said Dada for a while now, but just started saying Mama a couple weeks ago (even though clearly I am her favorite ;) She is still doing this half crawl/half scoot thing, she doesn't seem to be in a hurry to crawl normal..I guess if she can get where she wants, then whats the point, right? :) She can sit up from laying down on her own, and has started standing up on things. She is still sleeping atleast 12 hours a night, which is AMAZING! These two girls seriously make life so much better..............

We were in Kingman for a couple extra days after Kalli's graduation so Scott had peace and quiet at home to study for his LSAT which we will find out how he did by the end of the month, we are super nervous, but I am sure he did good since he is soo smart! Anyways, it was alot of fun because my brother Clint, his wife Bri, and their little boy Payton were all in town too. Payton is SO cute, I love that little boy so much!! It was so nice to get out of the heat for a little while, the weather was so nice up there. Me and Clint spent countless hours trying to beat the original Mario 3, we almost got there too...haha! I can't believe my sweet little Paige is 7 months old today. Where did the time go? She has such a cute personality already and brings so much happiness into our home. She is still a huge Momma's girl, but she is getting better about going to other people. She has been sitting up on her own for a while now, and is so close to crawling. She can take her time though! I am not in any rush for her to grow up! She is sleeping about 12 hours a night now, and its wonderful! She is such a good baby, I LOVE it. I love that Paige and Brinlee get along so well, Brinlee is sooooo sweet to Paige and Paige lights up when Brinlee walks in the

Our friends Tim and Kylee invited us up to their cabin this past weekend. We have been up there a couple times with them and LOVE it. The weather was perfect! It is so much fun, and relaxing which is exactly what we needed right now.Between Scott working full time, taking 15 credit hours at ASU, and just starting his LSAT prep course, and me working and being home by myself ALOT with the girls, it was time for a break. We love hanging out with them, their kiddos are so cute, and Brinlee and Ashton get along really good which is awesome!

Easter

Easter was really fun this year. The Easter bunny visited Brinlee, Jaden, and Paige at our house! It was really fun to see Brinlee and Jaden find their baskets and enjoy them. It was a little bit much for Paige :) My parents were still in town from Brinlee's party so it was extra fun celebrating such a special holiday with them, plus it was Conference weekend, so we got to all watch Conference together. Although it is super hard with two 3 year olds and a 7 month old to hear. All in all, it was a great weekend. Brinlee got to do a fun Easter hunt at Grandpa and Grandma's Adams in the afternoon and she really enjoyed it. I don't have any pictures from it though. She still talks about the gold egg that had money in it that Daddy took. She is so funny. She will talk about things for weeks and weeks after they happen. I didn't get very many good pictures, it was early :)

Brinlee has talked about her Princess Birthday party for months.....and the day FINALLY came :)! My parents came down along with Kalli and Kyrstin, and Scott's family came over. She was in heaven, she got lots of fun presents and all the attention was on her. She LOVED it!! My Mom made her such a cute cake! I love that my Mom is creative, she always makes such cute things! I don't know why I don't have any pictures of Scott's family, but they were there :) I know I have said this a million times, but we are so lucky to have such amazing families that love and support us. I CANNOT believe my baby girl is 3 years old already. It goes by way too fast! We had a little friend Birthday party for her, it was super windy, but she had fun which is all that matters! I just invited a couple of her little friends that live close by. We had it at the park across that street from our house. I love this little girl so much. I can't believe I am 24 already. I am getting so old :)!! Scott had work and school on my birthday so we celebrated it a couple days later. Scott's Mom did take me out to lunch on my birthday so I didn't have to spend it alone, I am so lucky to have such a great Mother in law!! For my birthday we went out to dinner at Charleston's with Scott's parents...it was so good!!! I love Charleston's! We took Paige and she was great, she was super talkative, but so happy! After dinner we went back to his parent's house and had cake and icecream and presents...so fun!!

The weekend after we got back from Utah we had an Adams Family Reunion (Scott's Dads side). It was such a nice day outside, and we had it at an awesome park right across from his Uncle's GORGEOUS house. Its pretty much their own personal park, its so nice! Grandpa Adams broke his back a couple months ago, so he hasn't been feeling very well :( It was so nice to be able to hang out with that side of the family since we don't see them very much.

Utah Trip

In March we went to Utah for Scott's cousins wedding. We were lucky enough to be able to stay with his cousin Kyle and his wife Megan and their little guy Anden, who is only 3 weeks older than Paige. It was so cute to see them interact. We had SO much fun with them!! It snowed and snowed for a couple days while we were up there, Brinlee had so much fun playing in it, since we don't EVER get snow here. The girls did great on the drive, I was a little nervous cause it was so far. But in all they did great! Good thing, cause we are planning on going up there again in June :) We spent lots of time playing card games, and just hanging out, especially at his grandparents house. They are awesome! We love them so much! Especially Brinlee since last time Great Grandma was down she fixed her bunny's ear and she tells everyone "Great Grandma fixed my bunny's ear" she just says it randomly sometimes, its so cute! I don't think she will ever forget :) I didn't take very many pictures cause we were way to busy having fun :)

I can't believe how big my baby girl is getting.

It kind of took a long time, but we decided we were going to wait until she was ready,

she has been going on the toilet for a while now, but she has gone on the toilet without any accidents for about a week now, and I don't have to ask her anymore..YAY!

It has been a crazy, but fun last couple months. For Thanksgiving we went up to Kingman to spend it with my parents, and all of my siblings were there. It was nice to have everyone there at the same time and have all the little cousins play. We ate some delicious food, relaxed, played a fun game of no-peek-ee and our family friend Shawn even came over to join in the fun. My parents have made the downstairs into a huge playroom for all the little grandkids with tons and tons of toys...they LOVE it and I LOVE it cause its keeps Brinlee occupied for hours :) My parents even got Brinlee a pair of skates, knee pads, elbow pads, and helmet. She had them on, almost the whole time. She fell a ton, but that didn't stop her :) The day after Thanksgiving we went and rode horses at this ranch, right outside Kingman. My Mom knows the couple that own it. It was so pretty there, and Brinlee and Jaden (and all of us) had so much fun riding and playing with the horses. Here are some pictures from our trip.....

Bring on the New Year

I didn't get any pictures of our New Year's because we were having way too much fun. On New Year's Eve we went out to dinner with Scott's parents and Christi and Orrin, we took Paige along and she did great. It was so nice to go out to dinner with all the adults (and Paige) and just enjoy the peace and quite and conversation, not to mention the food was GREAT!! We went to On the Border and that is one our favorite restaurants! After dinner we went back to Scott's parents house and played WII, they got the new Mario Brothers game, and it was so much FUN! We then played a game called Loaded Questions and waited for the New Year. We watched the ball drop and drank some Martinelli's :) Then we headed home. On New Year's day we headed back over to Scott's parents house and went and watched the Blind Side, which was SO SO good. We took Paige again, and she was AWESOME. She is such a good baby, we are so lucky!! I am so glad we have such FUN families. I am ready for the new year and can't wait to see what it brings. Me and Scott started P90X program, which is super hard, so hopefully I can stick with it and lose all this baby weight and have a rockin body in 90 days...LOL!! We hope everyone has a HAPPY and SUCCESSFUL New Year!

CHRISTMAS Festivities

Christmas was so fun this year. It was spent with family, going to Christmas parties, driving around to look at Christmas lights almost every night :) and just hanging out. We love the Christmas season and are so sad to see it go. We spent as much time as we could with Scott's sister and brother in law, Christi and Orrin, and their boys. They came down from Oregon for a couple weeks. We sure do miss them when they are gone, but 3 years and counting and they will be back in Arizona...we CAN'T wait!! We spent Christmas Eve and Morning with Scott's family and then drove to Kingman to spend the rest of Christmas Day with my family, my Grammy was at my parent's house so it was extra special!! I didn't get as many pictures as I usually do because I was too busy enjoying Christmas and holding a baby :) We all got great presents for Christmas and it was so fun to watch Brin open her stocking and her presents since she finally got it this year. I can't wait until next year :)

The Moak's invited us to their Christmas party. We had so much fun playing all sorts of games, and even winning prizes :) Brinlee even left them a wonderful present by throwing up all over their sink (Sorry about that :) We are so glad we moved into this ward and had instant friends since the Moak's and the Robinson's used to be in our old ward, and we have made some awesome new friends too. Thanks again to the Moak's for inviting us to your party!!

Our little Paige Nicole got blessed on December 6, 2009. It was such a special day, and Paige got such an amazing blessing from Scott. She looked so beautiful (Thanks Bri and Clint for the beautiful blessing gown) We are so lucky to have the gospel in our lives and to have each other, our two beautiful little girls and such great family and friends to spend these special moments with. A huge thank you to all those that traveled ALL the way to our house ( I know it can be quite the hike...LOL) to share in this special event with us. We love you all!!

Oh how I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE these little girls.

Brinlee keeps us laughing and Paige keeps us smiling. Brinlee says the funniest and cutest things, some of the things she has been saying lately"

*If I ask her to do something she almost always says "Of course I will, Mom"
*When she walks down the stairs in the morning after she wakes up she says "Its a great, sunny, beautiful day"
*She has been a little emotional lately with having to share me with Paige and Scott being gone so much with school and work, so when she is happy me and Scott try to thank her for being happy and a good girl. This morning when we were getting ready for church she says to me, "Mommy, thank you for being happy"

I could go on and on, the stuff she says AMAZES me sometimes, and she is so polite ( I have no idea where she got it from :) Paige is getting bigger by the second. She is such a good baby and loves to cuddle, which I LOVE. She started smiling and cooing a couple weeks ago, it so fun just to sit and watch her. Scott has been super busy, he works full time and has school Monday thru Thursday nights. He is such a good daddy and husband. When he gets home after a long day of work and school he is such a good helper to me, whether its helping me with the cleaning or taking Paige so I can get some work done. I am SO lucky to be married to such a GREAT guy!! As for me, I have been staying busy also. Having two kiddos is alot of fun, but it sure is alot more work than having one :). On top of that I am working from home, which I LOVE, but its been keeping super busy. Thats all I have for an update for now. We are so excited for the Holiday Season, and we wish you all a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Halloween Fun

This year we had a really fun Halloweeen. Brinlee finally got what it was all about and was so excited to go to the "Halloween party" and get lots of candy, thats all she could talk about for days before Halloween. To start the night we went over to Scott's grandparents house so they could meet Paige and visited with them for a while. They are so sweet and we are not very far away from where they live so hopefully we can get over there to see them more often. Then we went to our ward Trunk or Treat and then over to Scott's parents house and went to a few more houses in their culdesac. We could not get Brinlee to say Trick or Treat, she would just shake her bag, and loved that people just put candy in there. Brinlee was a little princess and she was so excited to dress up as one and Paige was a little pumpkin. I love celebrating holiday's with my little girls, it makes the holidays so much better!! After we were done trick or treating, Scott's mom watched the girls so we could go to a haunted house. Scott had been begging me for like a month to go with him to a haunted house, so I finally gave in. I had never been to one, so I wasn't sure I wanted to go, but I am glad I did, we laughed alot. We went with a another really fun couple, and had a good time. It was nice to have a much needed date with my hubby, but I sure did miss my little girls!!

Sorry for the picture overload, but its been a while. I have been pretty busy, ya know? :) I can't believe that Paige is a month old already. She is such a good baby, we are so lucky!! Brinlee LOVES her little sister, she has done so much better than I could have ever hoped for. She is such a good little helper. We took Paige on her first road trip last weekend to Kingman to see my sister Kalli be crowned Homecoming Queen...she looked beautiful!! Other than that we have just been hanging out, loving life and our little girls!

Stuart Family Reunion 2009

Last weekend we went to the annual Stuart family reunion. We weren't sure we were going to be able to make it, seeing as how I am supposed to have a baby any day now :) But I went to a doctors appt on Friday and was only dialated to a 2 so we decided it probably wasn't going to happen anytime soon. So we headed to Williams, AZ. It was so much fun just relaxing and hanging out with family. The weather was awesome, it was so nice to get out of the valley heat for a weekend. On Saturday afternoon, it started raining and hailing, but that didn't last too long, it was a nice change. Brinlee of course loved it and all she could talk about a couple days before we left is that she was so excited to go camping with Papa (she LOVES her Papa). We cheated and stayed in a hotel, but she loved every minute of being out in the woods. She had lots of friends to play with. There were 6 little boys 3 years old and under and then Brinlee, she was the only little girl, but she held her own and had tons of fun playing with them.

Couponing has become one of your hobbies. :) I actually really enjoy doing it these days, not necessarily cutting out the coupons and organizing them, but definetly saving money. I won't even go to the store without coupons now, my family calls me the coupon queen, even my little sister who is such a diva said she was super proud of me when I made her come to a couple stores with me, which to those of you who know Kalli, know that is a huge compliment. She said that if she doesn't marry someone rich (I know she is still young and in dreamland) that she might do them when she grows up...haha! She makes me laugh!! Farm Time

We took Brinlee to a fundraiser for Cancer at Superstition Farm last Saturday. She had so much fun, they had horse rides and animals to feed and tons and tons of cows. She loves animals, so we knew she would enjoy this. Since we have moved to Queen Creek there are horses everywhere, and everytime we drive by them she says "Look Mom, horses....need to ride them" So I was super excited when we found out about this place and that she was finally going to be able to ride a horse :)She was not afraid of any of the animals, she just went right up to all of them. The pictures are horrible because we forgot the camera and bought a disposable one, and then when we got them developed the lady completely messed up the film. But anyways here are a couple that did turn out okay.

Brinlee is growing up WAY too fast. I have so much fun hanging out with her. I am going to start working from home starting Monday and I am SO excited I get to spend all day with her. I think she might have some withdrawals from not going to Grandma Adams house every day though. She LOVES it over there and they are so good to her.
